According to the suggestions made by the referees, I have included a section
"A review of related work on parallelizing Navier-Stokes
computations", where I give a review of some selected papers which I think
are relevant, since 1991 up to 1998.

I have also included a section with the results obtained on a 32-processor
IBM SP/2.
