The Webflow prototype was basically proof that such a system can be built. This can be improvised further due to the rapid development of core technologies . The different areas in Webflow where improvisations are taking place are

1. The WebVM layer :

Instead of using Java Web Server from Javasoft, we plan to build our own webserver which will incorporate essential features. These include the servlet mechanism , CORBA , audio and video streaming.

2. The Front - End:

Java Beans developed by JavaSoft can be used to build a new front end instead of using GEF. This architecture will then be able to plug and unplug components easily .
