More Info about Saleh Elmohamed

Here is some info about me ...

I am with the Northeast Parallel Architectures Center (NPAC) at Syracuse University, working for Geoffrey Fox in the areas of combinatorial optimization, computational science, and high performance computing. I also work with Paul Coddington and Hon Yau on some of the aforementioned topics.

A Glossary of High Performance Computing and Communications as part of the National HPCC Software Exchange.
A Survey of High performance Computing Systems , also part of the NHSE.
A Road map to HPCC Applications and Technology.
Certainly one of the most useful pages around, Mike Trick's at CMU .
Another useful page is that of the Computational Science Research Project CSEP at ORNL .
May be you can visit PARC to view the world .
Some interesting links to explore. Here is another one: Roy Williams' "Hot Hot" List .
One of my latest masterpieces :-) :-) is here.

Useful Software, Books and other Info on Neural Nets

A good supplementary neural networks book to the Introduction to The Theory of Neural Computation, by Hertz, Krogh, and Palmer is An Introduction to Neural Networks , by Ben Kröse and Patrick van der Smagt.
Source codes for a back-propagation simulator as well as a simulator of Kohonen Map .
For a nice neural nets simulator, check The PDP++ Software Home Page .
A very interesting research group is that of John Hopfield at Caltech .
A list of the most widely used neural network software .
A link to more materials and papers on neural networks.
Another interesting link is that of the Computation and Neural Systems program at Caltech.
A home page for financial trading with neural networks .
Abstracts of articles appearing in Neural Computation .
A good link to other pointers on neural nets along the information superhighway is PNL neural nets home page , or perhaps this one .
