Java Grande 2000 Special Issue of Concurrency: Practice and Experience

So as in previous years, Concurrency and Computation:Practice and Experience ( known as Concurrency:Practice and Experience until Dec 00) proposes to publish a special issue for the Java Grande Conference. We propose to follow the process used in 1999 with hopefully faster journal turn around

Here is process and timeline for 2000

  1. Special Issue open to accepted papers, posters and inspirations of the moment
  2. Each author team agrees to referee 3 of their colleague's papers
  3. Think about what you learnt and submit journal version of paper by July 31 00
  4. There are no particular page limits other than what referees consider reasonable
  5. Everything will be done electronically. Please submit PDF or equivalent format (postscript,word)
  6. We will choose papers for individuals to referee based on any preferences expressed.
  7. There will be 3 papers for each author team to referee
  8. Referee reports will be due mid September 00 and sent to authors
  9. Final paper versions due end of November 00
