Functional Requirements and Design of SCCS Database

1. Introduction

This document defines the key elements and logical layer
of the SCCS database. SCCS DB has the folloing major
objectives:

1) Allow authorized users to submit new entries of their
document meta data
2) Allow authorized users to modify document entries
previuosly submitted
3) Allow root users to manage all users and documents
in the database
4) Allow any user to search by certain criterias
over the document database
5) all the administration and search interfaces are
Web-based
