VASTNET

A prototype digital Video Archive Server Technology Network developed by NPAC and SU's Newhouse School demonstrates a future news-on-demand system that CNN may use to distribute video clips to its affiliates. A web interface and text search engine is customized for news professionals, with a consumer version under development.
