In Netscape 3:
Go to the Options menu.
Select Network Preferences...
Click the Languages tab.
Make sure the Enable JavaScript box is checked.
In Netscape 4:
Go to the Edit menu.
Select Preferences...
Click on Advanced so that it is highlighted.
Check the Enable JavaScript box.
In Internet Explorer 3:
Go to the the View menu.
Select Options...
Click on the Security tab.
Make sure Run ActiveX scripts is checked.
In Internet Explorer 4:
Go to the View menu.
Select Internet Options...
Select the Security tab.
Select either Internet Zone or Local Intranet Zone (the bottom right of your main browser window will tell you which one).
Select the Custom radio button.
Click on Settings.
Under Scripting - Active Scripting, check Enable.
In Internet Explorer 5:
Go to the Tools menu.
Select Internet Options...
Select the Security tab.
Click on a zone, either Internet or Local intranet (the bottom right of your main browser window will tell you which one).
Click on Custom Level...
Under Scripting - Active Scripting, check Enable.
