Outreach Activities II

• We organized Lab tours for high school students and undergraduate students.
• We have started a program of working closely with science clubs for K-12 grades to present our work (detector work and our physics goals).
• We are in contact with K-12 science educators, discussing educational issues of common interest and holding periodic workshops. For example, last year we held a “Van der Graaf” workshop where local high school teachers learned how they work and how to repair them. At the workshop we helped them repair more than two-dozen classroom Van der Graaf’s.
