Dear Grid on the Go Program Committee Member: Let me start by thanking you for your patience as we have worked to define an alternative date for the meeting. After discussions with a number of targeted speakers, we have determined the best date for the meeting is May 20th-22nd, 2001 in Champaign-Urbana. NCSA's Private Sector Program is having a quarterly update later that seem week and we believe it may allow us to attract additional industrial participation. Our most immediate need to revitalize our program and define the final agenda for the event. I'd like to suggest that we schedule a teleconference for the group on February 7th. Please let us know your availability asap. I'm happy to announce that Larry Smarr (Director of the California Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technology) and Ian Foster (Head of the Distributed Systems Lab, Mathematics & Computer Science, Argonne National Laboratory) have agreed to join the program committee. --=====================_785776887==_.ALT Content-Type: text/html; charset="us-ascii" Jim/Geoffrey:

How does this draft note look?

Dear Grid on the Go Program Committee Member:

Let me start by thanking you for your patience as we have worked to define an alternative date for the meeting.
