I've attached both a gziped postscript version of our paper and a gziped tar file of our paper's laTex source files. Also, included below is a description of some of the referees comments that we did not address and why we did not address them. Please let me know if there is anything else I need to send you. Thanks, Tia Information about referees suggestions that we did not address: -------------------------------------------------------------- Many of referee #1's comments indicate that he missed the point of our paper. In particular, his major complaints about our using a simulated JIT compiler (we DON'T simulate JIT compilation, but dynamic compilation) instead of a real one made it clear that he did not understand the difference between JIT compiled and dynamically compiled executions. I took this as an indication that we did not clearly specify the difference between JIT compiled executions and dynamically compiled executions and tried to make the distinction even more clear in the final version of our paper. Also, many of his minor comments were off point, so I only addressed his comments that were relevant to our work. Other than that I addressed each referees comments in the new version of the paper. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: paper.ps.gz paper.ps.gz Type: Postscript Document (application/postscript) Encoding: BASE64 Name: paper_latex_src.tar.gz paper_latex_src.tar.gz Type: Unix Tape Archive (application/x-tar) Encoding: BASE64
