Dear Professor Fox,

Please find attached a copy of a submission for the Java Grande special
issue.  The title of the paper is "Design of the Kan Distributed Object
System".  The authors are Jerry James and Ambuj Singh.  I am the contact
author.

The paper is a bit on the long side (47 pages).  Please let me know if
there is any problem with that.
