SciVis for Collaborative Scientific Visualization

• SciVis is a extensible, portable, platform-independent (including PCs) package for the visualization of 1-3 dimensional data written in Java

• SciVis supports remote collaborative visualization

• Targeted at routine, or “low-end” visualization tasks important in development & execution of HPC applications (I.e. computational steering)

• Not intended to compete with “high-end” visualization tools for “presentation” purposes.
