1 Information can be presented in formats that best fit current state of display technology from Netscape 1.1 HTML to JavaBean White Board
2 Can track such changes in Web technology!
3 Can use database to support search of material
4 Makes support of "play-lists" particularly easy as these are just selected out of separate tables in database (if one table is one foilset say)
5 Same database can be used in other functions such as administration
