Technique depends on load distribution
1) Agglomerate to one task per processor
  • Appropriate if little load imbalance
2) Extend (1) to incorporate cyclic mapping
  • Works well for diurnal cycle imbalance
3) Use dynamic, local load balancing
  • Works well for unpredictable, local imbalances
