3	Note it is NOT obvious that we will succeed ........
4	Help us collect Java Grande benchmarks see http://math.nist.gov/scimark http://www.epcc.ed.ac.uk/research/javagrande/benchmarking.html Stress Java and Java runtime (the VM) with large applications -- where are performance problems?
5	Work with community on standard classes and libraries
6	Participate in establishing seamless computing framework by participation in DATORR process
7	Participate in Java MPI process
