GENERAL INFORMATION

ParCo97 will be held in Bonn, Germany from 16-19 September 1997. It is the continuation of one of the longest running international conferences that concentrate on the application of parallel computers. The scientific program, in combination with the industrial exhibition and session, will give an overview of the state-of-the-art of the development, application and future trends in parallel computing. These conferences have developed into a vital meeting point for researchers, developers, practitioners and vendors from all parts of the world.

WHY YOU SHOULD PARTICIPATE
ParCo97 will, as was the case with its predecessors, attract a wide international audience. These conferences are noted for the high scientific level of all contributions. The scientific excellence is combined with an informal atmosphere. The conference offers ample opportunities to meet with colleagues from all over the world and to make or renew contacts.

The information and registration desk is located in the foyer of the conference centre Wissenschaftszentrum and is open:

Monday: 16:00-18:00
Tuesday: 8:30-9:15, 11:00-18:00
Wednesday, Thursday: 8:30-18:00
Friday: 8:30-14:00

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE
The official language of the conference is English.


REGISTRATION FEE
The basic registration (780,- DEM / 1080,- DEM) fee includes tea/coffee, lunches and participation in the scientific programme.

The full registration (1010,- DEM / 1310,- DEM) fee additionally includes a copy of the proceedings and participation in the social programme.

CANCELLATIONS
A full refund minus a handling charge of 75,- DEM will be made in all cases in which a written application is received by the Conference Office before 1 September 1997.

PAYMENTS
Note that no credit card facilities will be available at the conference registration desk during the conference. Cash, EURO cheque, traveller cheque will be accepted.

SOCIAL EVENTS
A full social programme is offered.

This includes an excursion and a conference dinner.

LUNCHES AND COFFEE BREAKS
Coffee/tea will be available during the breaks and lunch will be served in the restaurant of the conference building. Participants with a full or basic registration will receive lunch vouchers.
