2 HE = Higher Education, NTI = New Technologies Initiative
3 JISC NTI Program ran from mid 93 to mid 96 and included 8 HPCTE (High Performance Computing Training and Education) Programs and 6 cluster deployment projects (major follow up project in latter area)
4 I reviewed Program for a week in December 96
5 Lessons are generally applicable
6 Quite a lot of excellent HPCC Course Material Produced although not presented terribly well on the Web
