Magnetic Phase Transitions

Many magnetic crystals have a phase transition from a magnetized (ordered) state to a demagnetized (disordered) state. This is not just a simple change in magnetization -- it is characterized by a divergence of certain quantities (for an infinite system) at the Curie Temperature .
