Year 1:
   Analysis of NASA application requirements and implentation  of
   the asociated interfaces in XML
   Simple wrapping of existing codes like Virtual California for
   stand alone invocation by Garnet Portal

Year 2:
   Implementation of at least 2 data-mining algorithms in Garnet Portal
    
Year 3;
   Full collaborative Garnet portal supporting data-mining and simulation
   Demonstration of collaboration between PC and wireless hand-held device.
