The URL for Jason Woods: http://www.scs.leeds.ac.uk/kwb/publications95.htm#Love:98 > but I cannot find them easily. But when I wrote the report, I found it's really hard to link them all together because the ways they are thinking are so different! Due to my level, what I can do is introducing some directly and doing a summary for others which are not easily for me to analysis. And this is why I have a summary about "elements of collaborative visualization". In this part, also every element is related to a (group of) paper(s). Two examples: Sieve: I think this paper is great! but I found it's really hard to find a way to introduce it into this report. Although there are some insights in this paper, the system basically works as JavaBean. Popcorn: I have 2 or 3 LONG papers about this project. But I think the only thing I am interested is "computlet"(=data+program, it's a unit for computing which can be send over the net).In the papers, they talked a lot about how to trade(steal) the CPU time from other machines over the internet, it's not obvious for me how this can be related to Collaborative Computing. Frankly speaking,I think this idea is good, but it wonn't work well in real life. Tomorrow I will give you all these papers I have and I hope they can help you a little bit. If you want to give me some advise or want to correct my understanding, please let me know. Thank you!
