The "extended abstract" became a poster presntation at SC. The "semantic checking" paper is important for HPspmd but it hasn't been published yet. Should probably be called a TR. Will be 200-300 foils). I guess should mention the MPI work, but probably not overemphasize since we are putting in a separate proposal to do that kind of work. General highlights: HPJava translator now operational on simple programs. This year will optimize, make robust, generalize, add fullsemantic checking. Binding to multiple libraries started with work on Global arrays earlier 1999, and work on MPJ, mpiJava.
