Response to Peter Dichiara Strategy is to put item in laps of FSU and Syracuse because only this will force "Syracuse Central" to act So we write to Fraser and Ware and cc to Peter saying that 1) We had expressed our comments on both inventors and technical merit of claims in email which Peter said was OK before we signed on Peters assurance We feel his current response is not consistent with his assurance 2) We note that I am acknowledged primary inventor; only internationally recognized scientist and leader of NPAC. Thus we believe that my technical statements cannot be dismissed in such an off hand fashion 3) We note that the basic field is moving very fast and we are concerned that the lawyer Dichiara is really qualified to dimiss my technical comments 4) Peter is working as for Syracuse University and the essential issue is defining intellectual property. Thus we believe only solution is to include this as part of negotiation which were just started between FSU and Syracuse. The matters which Peter is addressing and for which both ownership and technical specification are disputed represent about 30% of Fox's work over last 4 years. Its heart are two major software packages each of which were 100% written by Fox (WebWisdom and the JavaScript Shared Browser) Thus issues at heart of dispute with Dichiara will presumably be addressed before any intellectual property agreement can be made between Syracuse and FSU. Thus we suggest suspending discussion of patent until the FSU-Syracuse agreement is complete and there is a clear specification of high technical quality for the various pieces of intellectual property. Another Thought or two: Peter has consistently questioned my intellectual honestly I have got to where I am with an international reputation by maintaing the highest standards for my technical work and only putting my name to work of the highest quality. For this reason, Peter's comments on the technology must have more substance than to say I am wrong. My email already made several very serrious technical statements about the accuracy of the patent -- none of my comments (starting in 1999) have ever been answered except by some "legal bullying" We believe that the agreement between FSU and Syracuse must include a commitment that this harassment stop.
