1 Audio Tool features:
2 uses two types of compression: GSM 06.10 speech codec and Intel/DVI ADPCM codec
3 GSM codec offers better compression ratio but worse speech quality - it is good for less reliable networks
4 ADPCM compresses audio just four times but it has much better quality
5 GSM 06.10 codec
6 used in digital cellular telephony standard
7 based on the RPE-LTP compression algorithm
8 Intel/DVI ADPCM codec
9 less computionally intensive than G.721
10 produces very good quality for voice signals and reasonably good quality for music
