  • current weather data: interface to Unidata IDD
    • operational in NPAC
  • weather prediction: interface to the ARPS code (Oklahoma's CAPS)
  • integrated data structures for both current and predictive data
  • 2D (Java) and 3D (OpenInventor) visualization engines for complex weather observable
  • both vis modes fully interactive and collaborative via Web and Tango framework
