University of Puerto Rico NSF funded Alliance for Minority Participation
- collaboration with other 19 EPSCoR states to increase use of HPCC by minority scientists and students
- EPSCoR is NSF program targeted at states that have traditionally not received so much federal funding
- UPR (Oscar Moreno) is EPSCoR lead for HPCC
- UPR will deploy Alliance curricula in their virtual PhD.
Lifelong Learning and Public Awareness
- NPAC is offering “Certificate in Internet Engineering” through Syracuse’s Continuing Education Program
