2 Supports general shared event model of collaboration where it can share applications in Java, JavaScript, C, VRML, C++ (Open Inventor), Lisp (emacs)

3 Has conventional general tools
  • Audio/Video Conferencing, Chat rooms, Whiteboard
4 Developed for command and control where has a simple event driven simulator built in
5 Most extensively used in education -- especially for course between Syracuse and Jackson State
  • Using JavaScript "guided tour" WebWisdom linking to 22,000 foils
