No compelling new languages e.g. OCCAM does not solve enough problems to warrant adoption Adapt existing languages Fortran C++ ADA C LISP PROLOG BASIC ..........COBOL ?
Can map onto individual sequential or parallel computers or networks of these (distributed computing)
