1 SciVis is a extensible, portable, platform-independent (including PCs) package for the visualization of 1-3 dimensional data written in Java
2 SciVis supports remote collaborative visualization
3 Targeted at routine, or "low-end" visualization tasks important in development & execution of HPC applications (I.e. computational steering)
4 Not intended to compete with "high-end" visualization tools for "presentation" purposes.
