From CEWES Year 3 Proposed NPAC Activitie CEWES End of Year 2 Review Vicksburg -- Feb 24-26 98. by David Bernholdt, Geoffrey C. Fox
Year 2 project with JSU cutting edge, very successful, valuable lessons learned
In Year 3, expand in two directions:
  • Move technology into DoD proper for Distance Training (joint proposal presented by OSC)
  • Make distance education more routine among universities (this proposal)
Deliver graduate-level course to JSU
  • SU CPS615 "Computational Science for Simulation Applications"
JSU will also deliver courses to other universities
  • SU course materials will be used
  • SU will provide support for delivery (Tango/WebWisdom)
