Every Notes database has at least one view. When a empty database is created by Notes, it also creates a default view. You can see a related subset of the documents in a Notes database using view. It is displayed in a tabular fashion with both rows and columns. The rows usually represent one document from the database. The information displayed in each column for that row is extracted from fields in the document or other document attributes, such as document creation date, last modified date
or size.
