From VRML 2 Basic Concepts and Definitions CPS616 -- Information Track of CPS -- Spring Semester 98. by Zeynep Ozdemir, Rob Baker, Meryem Ispirli, Geoffrey C. Fox

Definition and 2 Examples of a CylinderSensor for Foil 116(Definition and Examples)
1 The CylinderSensor node senses viewer drag actions, computes rotation axis and angles, and output these using rotation_changed eventOut.
2 By using this sensor, it is possible to define a shape, like disk, than can be turned via draging the mouse.
  • CylinderSensor { autoOffset TRUE # exposedField SFBool diskAngle 0.262 # exposedField SFFloat enabled TRUE # exposedField SFBool maxAngle -1 # exposedField SFFloat minAngle 0 # exposedField SFFloat offset 0 # exposedField SFFloat isActive # eventOut SFBool rotation_changed # eventOut SFRotation trackPoint_changed # eventOut SFVec3f }
