Foil 16 TANGOsim for Distributed Simulation and Computational Steering - II

From Command and Control Application in CIV Project Rome Laboratory CIV Final Review -- 9 April 98. by Marek Podgorny

1 Note synergy with Java Server based distributed computing such as WebFlow which builds an AVS like environment with graphical interfaces to software Integration
2 More ambitious to upgrade discrete event simulation component of TANGOsim to support full SIMNET/DSI (Distributed Simulation Internet) functionality.
3 Note that Java is natural language for DSI/Forces Modeling because these typically use object parallelism which fits both language and applet/JavaBean capabilities.
