NetMeeting user information must be configured
  • When launching NetMeeting application for the first time, user information wizard will guide you through user information configuration process
For Windows NT only, NetMeeting must have applications sharing enabled
  • If it was not enabled yet, `Enable Sharing' button can be found in NetMeeting application menu command lists
Sharing Agent cannot run if NetMeeting application is running

`Microsoft Applications' folder in CA is Sharing Agent entry point
Joining a session may take ~30s
Sharing Agent supports most of Tango session functionality
  • currently no Grant/Become Master
Collaborative and non-collaborative mode
  • slave enters collaborative mode by double-clicking shared application
  • in collaborative mode users share ONE mouse
  • leaving a session is the only way of de-collaborating
