1 Short term (September 98): The first demo of the Web-based LMS system will include the following features:
  • automatic downloading of input data needed to run CASC2D model
  • launching WMS on local or remote host (to preprocess raw input data to CASC2D format)
  • launching CASC2D on a remote host
    • in a stand-alone mode
    • coupled with EDYS to improve CASC2D simulations
    • to provide input data for a long term EDYS simulations
  • uploading results to the client and run WMS visualization package
