1 | There are eleven steps to copy an existing database: |
2 | 1. Select the icon for the database you want to copy |
3 | 2. Choose File | Database | New Copy |
4 | 3. Do one of the following: |
5 | Leave Local selected as the server to store the database on your workstation hard disk |
6 | Select or enter a server name to store the database on a server. This allows multiple people to work on the database design |
7 | 4. (Optional) In the Title box, enter a title for the new database. The title appears on the database icon |
8 | 5. Press TAB and enter a new name to change the default file name in the File Name box |
