1 The Master Schedular
2 On each of the resource workstation daemons are present that communicate their state at regular intervals to the master scheduler.
3 One of the tasks of the master scheduler is to load balance the the resources that it is managing.
4 When a job is submitted it not only has to match the requested resources with those that are available, but also needs to ensure that the resources being used are load balanced.
