1 Introduction
2 WANE is a Wide Area Networked Environment being developed at the Supercomputer Computations Research Institute (SCRI) as part of a three year grant from the US Department of Energy.
3 It is designed to be provide highly scalable, fault tolerant computing and information encompassment.
4 WANE is the integration of several ongoing software projects into one single transparent environment.
