Foil 2 Background

From Overview of PET support for CMS Internal Briefing -- October 1998. by Wojtek Furmanski
We lead academic component (called PET for Programming Environments and Training) of the FMS (Forces Modeling and Simulation) CTA within the DoD HPC Modernization Program.
Our support comes from ARL (Maryland) and CEWES (Mississippi) MSRCs.
We work on a set of small FMS PET tasks including
  • WebHLA
  • Distance Training for FMS CHSSI Systems
  • Parallel CMS port for Origin2000
