I'm about to email out a reply to the authors and just wanted to confirm a couple of points. (i) I suggest Jan 11 as the deadline for final versions of the paper - 8 or so weeks should be enough. (ii) I will ask for their final copy to confirm to http://www.interscience.wiley.com/jpages/1040-3108/ and in particular that they use the provided style latex file wherever possible (iii) At this stage I assume only electronic copies are necessary and that they be sent to me for checking. (iv) Once I'm happy with the updated manuscripts, do I then hand them over to the editorial team and notify the authors? I can provide a suitable intoduction by Jan 11th.
