I have been preparing a report for six days (finally finished!!). I did speak briefly to both Susan Foster and Susan Buhr last week and both are definitely interested. Both will also be able to share different models of doing undergraduate research. For example, NCAR has the SOARS program, which is very effective, but also fairly expensive. So although the paper mentions certain programs to approach for funding, I think we should brainstorm different models, eliciting ideas from everyone involved and possibly even involving some representative undergrads to get their ideas. I've just skimmed the draft and think it looks good. You mentioned DLESE; do you want me to contact the director of DLESE, Mary Marlino, to see if she wants to be actively involved? (She's also in Boulder and actually housed in the UCAR building.) Lecia Lecia Al Kuslikis wrote: > --> -- Lecia J.
