It was recently brought to my attention that there are numerous backup tapes in the machine room taking up needed space. My understanding from Roman and Kathy Becker is that you have copies of these tapes and the researches that left took their research with them. Unless there is a reason not to, we are going to have the tapes destroyed - I understand that there may be sensitive Dept. of Defense work on them. Please let me know if you do not agree with our plans.
