Because there are many things (particularly financial things) that I need to learn in order to assist Therese and to provide adequate backup when she is out, I am proposing that we no longer research flight information for lab employees (Directors being an exception). This would mean that if one of your students or employees is going on a trip he or she would need to find a flight on their own rather than having us look for the flight. Please let me know if you see this being a problem for any reason. This small change would save me a great deal of time.=20 =20 Also, Melanie will be helping me with some of the paperwork involved in travel from now on. All initial requests should still be routed through me in order to avoid confusion-unless it is an emergency and I am away from the office. It will take some time for her to be comfortable with the entire travel process.=20 =20 Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. =20 Thanks, =20 =20 Daphne Siefert-Herron Services Coordinator Pervasive Technology Labs at Indiana University =20 501 N.
