Hi Mustafa,

We have the Cisco system installed experimentally.  I don t mind giving you a dial peer for a couple of telephone lines to support your research.  However, the following conditions would apply.

1) this is not a production service;

2) there is no commitment to this being a continuing (on-going) service (may be discontinued);

3) at some point in the future (with advance notice) this could become a billable service (like telephones today); and

4) this is presently a lab system, and sometimes I take it down to make changes and develop new capabilities without notice.

Given these caveats, would you like to proceed?  How about meeting again to work out the technical details?

-Mike Enyeart

Hello Mike,
How are you doing? I hope you still remember me. We had talked last semester about Cisco Voice systems. You were planning to build your own system and you said it would not be a problem to setup some dial peers for us. So we can use your systems for the research. What is the situation right now? Did you install your systems and can you still help us about the dial peers?

Thank you,
Mustafa

Mustafa,

Great.  My office in the Creative Arts building, just northeast of the
Wruble Computing Center, room 181.  We could meet this afternoon around

Hello Mike,
This is Mustafa who is working for Dr. Fox at Bloomington. He wanted me to
contact you about our needs. If your office is in Bloomington, can I stop
by and talk about our needs.

Thank you,
