Subject: Memo From: Joseph Travis (by way of Susan Kane ) Date: Mon, 04 Jun 2001 16:48:10 -0400 To: banks@csit.fsu.edu, erlebach@csit.fsu.edu, fox@csit.fsu.edu, gallivan@csit.fsu.edu, turner@csit.fsu.edu, myh@csit.fsu.edu, dennisl@csit.fsu.edu, swofford@onyx.si.edu I prepared this memo late last week but did not send it immediately. I am aware that there have been developments today that affect some of what I have written but I have elected to leave it all intact for now. I believe the issue of moving forward in a constructive manner might be more difficult in light of those developments, but nonetheless forward is the only direction in which I know how to move. I think there is no lingering doubt in anyone's mind in the university administration that mistakes have been made and that some new beginnings are necessary. Joseph Travis Robert O.
