I do not know about your institution's activities in combustion, but I expect that your center could contribute greatly to the computer science and computational science aspect (tool development). Secondly, I would like to let you know that I have been involved in the formation of a vendor-independent high-performance users group (www.hpcu.org) and we plan to hold an annual meeting late next=20 Summer.
