Demand for the 
information is higher than the actual production capabilities. The Research and
Development Division of D&B is responsible for the introduction of  new 
technology that will ensure competitive edge for the Corporation.

Dun & Bradstreet Corporation approached InfoMall and entered a
cooperation that will provide them with access to the parallel database
infrastructure recently built in NPAC. Instead of purchasing and
installing the infrastructure in their laboratories, D&B entered a
partnership with InfoMall to carry out technology evaluation using
parallel processing and parallel database expertise gathered in InfoMall
and to gain access to the state-of-the-art facilities.

InfoMall Activities with Dun & Bradstreet Corporation:</h3>

<ul>
<li>  In 1994, D&B Corporation ordered a series of parallel database
benchmarks for a number of platforms
<li> For 1995, a larger project is in the planning phase. An agreement
is expected by end of March. The project assumes further technology
evaluation for parallel database products and development of a decision
support and data warehouse integrated system for one of the parallel
platforms.

<p>
Cooperation with D&B is quite fruitful. The leverage represented by this
powerful company gives InfoMall access to the newest software technologies 
that will not be available on the market for many months. For D&B,
InfoMall infrstructure offers a testbed in which these technologies can
be installed and tested and the derivative tools and products developed.
