Attached you will find the scedule of presenters. If you note a mistake in this (whether of date or the *correct* acronym for your CTA), please let me know. Also, if there will be other presenters in your party, send on their names AND their affiliation (university, grant etc), as this information will be printed in the brochure to be given to the students upon arrival. Not everyone has sent a short descriptive paragraph (emphasis on *short*) about their CTA. if you wonder whether you're one of the culprits, you probably are: please send that in; it too is to be incorporated into the brochure. The schedule of the day for your presentations will follow the general pattern of a morning lecture starting at 9am and ending at noon. The content should be introductory as the purpose of the institute is to introduce students to your CTA: it's probably best to think of it as a recruitment pitch. It should also be informative as the students should be able to use it in the afternoon lab (which generally begins at 1.30pm). Ths aim of the laboratory sessions is to allow the students to experience the *process* of solving trivial problems in your CTA. We have a lab of PCs (running WindowsNT). However, should you prefer to work in a unix environment, we can do so remotely. Jeton McClinton and I are your contacts: should you require anything for your participation, please feel free to contact us (the information will be at the bottom of this mail). Lastly, here are the hotels that are nearest the school: Holiday Inn Southwest 2609 Hwy 80 355-3472 Ramada Inn Southwest Conference Center Ellis Avenue & I-20 West 944-1150 I would prefer to wait on giving driving directions to the school as there is currently construction underway on-campus. If there is anything else that i might do for you, please let me know.
