NPAC personnel will assist in the development of distance learning sites at Morgan State and Tennessee State Universities. Interaction with appropriate personnel at Morgan State, Tennessee State, and the NAVO MSRC will take place via electronic means, telephone, and travel as appropriate. NPAC technology will be demonstrated, including Tango and other related WWW-based training mechanisms, and technical assistance with their installation and use will be provided. NPAC is also willing to undertake porting (to other hardware/software platforms) and enhancement of these tools in response to needs of the needs of Morgan State, Tennessee State, or other NAVO PET partners with the concurrence of the NAVO MSRC PET program office. NPAC personnel with experience in computational science education and distance learning may also provide consultation on the development and presentation of education materials in a distance learning framework. These activities will be performed under the guidance of the NAVO MSRC PET program office, and we will report the results of the activity on a monthly basis to NAVO PET.
