Syracuse University is submitting a Core Support proposal and seven Focused Effort proposals in response to discussions with CEWES and PET management.
Of the Focused Effort proposals, we anticipate that three will be of interest to PET, and two to CEWES or the ITL itself. The other two proposals contain components which we believe will be of interest to both PET and CEWES, but it did not seem useful to split them into separate proposals at this stage. We would estimate that, as written, the work in these two proposals can be allocated roughly 50% PET and 50% CEWES.
The proposals will be e-mailed in text form individually (to Dick Pritchard and Joe Thompson only), and are also available on NPAC's WWW site at the URL http://www.npac.syr.edu/users/bernhold/cewes/ and summarized in the table below. Further information in support of these proposals can be found in NPAC's presentations during the 25 March 1997 visit of the CEWES and PET management to Syracuse. These presentations are accessible from the URL http://www.npac.syr.edu/users/gcf/working/CEWESvisit.htm.
We are open to discussion and modification of all of these proposals.
