This is starting point to Web Wisdom -- a hierarchical tree of knowledge
built from JavaScript and aimed at Netscape 3.0 or higher class Navigators. Web Wisdom is
set up to handle any worlds built in terms of self defining Web Pages where
the header of documents have appropriate JavaScript calls to self define hierarchical
structure recursively. This structure has natural applicability in education
and in Family memorabilia (including photos) and Mail archives. Web Wisdom can handle several different worlds (limited only by strength of JavaScript) and currently we have implemented FoilWorld
which archives foils produced by NPAC and a sample Family PhotoWorld.
Current Status of WebWisdom
The overall system is called WebWisdom and this is divided into Worlds
The first World is also called WebWisdom and handles administrative functions
The second World is FoilWorld and consists of a bunch of presentations arranged
hierarchically and formed from Persuasion, Powerpoint, Screendump and HTML originals
The final prototype world consists of a set of Family Photos which are either scanned in or
delivered directly in JPEG from the Photo Finisher.
